First off, I must give credit where credit is due...I found this information on a great website. I will definitely be ordering my seeds from them this year: organic potatoes, garlic and onions. I just ordered a catalog but you can find them online at http://www.irisheyesgardenseeds.com/
They have a fabulous idea that I plan to utlilize in my small plot South of Boston.
Check out their potato, growing guidelines: a 2x2 plot that is a couple of feet high and will yield hundreds of potatoes!

Cool! I would love to be able to grow half as many potatoe's in that small of an area! Sounds do-able.
